The second part of Maroon 5‘s Summer Set has just come out! While part one featured their new single “Misery,” part two showcases an unreleased track, “Give a Little More,” which is also off their upcoming album Hands All Over. Don’t forget to check out their performances of “Wake Up Call” and “Makes Me Wonder” from their last album It Wont Be Soon Before Long.
To refresh your memory, this concert was played on the roof top of the exclusive Empire Hotel right in the heart of New York City. You can see the sunset behind Maroon 5, along with the skyscrapers of New York City. With only a handful of people in the crowd the concert has an intimate and personal feel, even though you can literally see the hustle and bustle of the big city life just below.

M.I.A. is back with another brain-melting video. M.I.A., or Maya, just released her third-album – duly titled Maya - this June, which features “XXXO” as its first single. M.I.A., best known for her hit single “Paper Planes” from her second album Kala, faces the tough challenge of breaking through the hype of such a major hit. Still, we think with the release of “XXXO” she’ll have no trouble identifying herself as one of the premiere recording artists to come out of the UK.
The music video, directed by the legendary Hype Williams, has a very jazzed-up retro feel, reminiscent of her video “Boyz.” Unlike “Boyz,” whose jagged, colorful animation and stomp routines give off classic 90’s vibes, “XXXO” retains the nostalgia of the 80’s with such fixtures as glimmering cut-out stars, over-sized lips, and playfully animated swans and roses. However, M.I.A. keeps “XXXO” modern by adding what looks like iPhone texting bubbles, YouTube video players, along with Twitter references in the lyrics.
Be sure to catch the music video first here on VEVO!
We’re asking all the ladies out there, what kind of guy really gets you going? A gym rat? A greased up mechanic? Maybe a spitting lumberjack? How about a sweaty welder? Before you say no, what if they’re covered from head to toe in whipped cream? If you’re having trouble picturing that, you’ve got to watch Ludo’s new video “Whipped Cream.”
“Whipped Cream” features all those characters above, and you guessed it, lots and lots of whipped cream. Ludo also re-introduces us to the pelvic hip thrust, a dance move that may just take over the dance floors once again. You’ve got the study the move during the video just to make sure you’ll be ready when everyone else is busting it out.
If you already love Ludo‘s crazy antics, you’ll be sure to love “Whipped Cream” as well!
The country duo Sugarland brings obsession and attraction to a new level in “Stuck Like Glue.” The video is light and care free and provides plenty of laughs to match the upbeat and catchy song.
In “Stuck Like Glue” Jennifer Nettles relentlessly stalks the hunky Ryan McPartlin (Captain Amazing from the TV show Chuck) and kidnaps him with the help of her accomplice Kristian Bush. The two whisk Ryan away to a secret hideout where Jennifer shows him some pictures and even a couple of snazzy dance moves. Jennifer Nettles’ bubbly personality shines through in “Stuck Like Glue” and you can’t help but be happy for her once she manages to hang out with the love of her life (however wrong it might be.) Also check out how nonchalant Kristian Bush is in the background with his shades on! Now that’s a power country duo if we ever saw one.
“Something ‘Bout Love,” which is the first single on Archie’s sophomore album — The Other Side of Down, depicts a lonely Archuleta searching for that special someone to brighten his summer gloom. Archie, known for his fanatic fans, quickly begins to find love all around him. Soon, he discovers that love does not follow some cookie-cutter curricula, but rather can be found anywhere, anytime, in any form. After this discovery, the chorus pops, the confetti drops, and Archie and his friends party like it’s 1999. Sit back, relax, and feel the love with David’s new video.
