Stand Up To Cancer (follow #standuptocancer on Twitter) will return to the airwaves for the 10th year on Friday, September 10 at 8pm ET for a one-hour fundraising event featuring George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Renee Zellweger, Gwyneth Paltrow, Will Smith, Denzel Washington plus musical performances from The Edge (U2), Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Stevie Wonder, Lady Antebellum and many more.

The event will be aired live and commercial-free across all major TV networks and, of course, on VEVO. Also — don’t forget to check in thirty minutes early to see exclusive celebrity interviews by Cat Deeley on the Red Carpet during the preshow.

On Tuesday, July 20, at 8pm ET, you can catch Sheryl Crow on VEVO in an exclusive “Live on Letterman” webcast concert. As part of this ongoing concert series hosted by CBS Interactive Music Group, which you can always watch right here on VEVO, Sheryl will play a sampling of her biggest hits as well as new material from her forthcoming A&M Records release 100 Miles From Memphis, which will be released the same day as her “Live on Letterman” performance. Hot off the press is the explicit unedited version of the Ludacris’s new video“Sex Room” featuring Trey Songz, and VEVO is the only place you’ll find it.  This X-rated mini film is a naughty re-imagining of last year’s box office hit “The Hangover”, re-lived from the point of our favorite southern gentleman Luda and his partner in crime Trey (sporting the only kid-friendly element of this visual journey; a turtleneck sweater).

The guys and their scantily-clad entourage venture around Sin City poppin’ bottles, enjoy a leisurely soak in their suite’s hot tub and get clean in the shower with a female and a pole.

As the weekend approaches, this video has us all thinking…. how about a trip to Vegas?

Our favorite new video, “Alejandro,” is a veritable treasure chest of sartorial surprise, and one whose riches match any presentation at a Fashion Week runway show.  Lady Gaga draws from the creative minds of her designers and allows the clothes themselves to play a large role in the video’s concept. The fashion aims to draw in the viewer with aesthetic niceties and, once captive, shock them with their somewhat extreme and often androgynous presentation. And they certainly succeed, with notable additions by Emporio Armani, Agent Provocateur, Christian Louboutin, Calvin Klein, and a few choice pieces designed by the Lady herself under her “Haus of Gaga” line making a big impact.

We’re still catching our breath.  In the wake of her last release “Telephone” which racked up a record-breaking 15 million views in its first week, Lady Gaga has hit another home run with “Alejandro“.  This video has legitimately stolen the better part of our day, and we’re not complaining.

Standing at a cool 8 minutes and 44 seconds, “Alejandro” is more an epic short film than a run-of-the-mill music video.  Not that we expected any less from the Fame Monster, who has slowly built expectations of what she’s capable of in videos for “Poker Face“, “Bad Romance“, “Telephone“.

The black and white masterpiece pushes countless buttons while still treading on both familiar and extraterrestrial ground.  Artistically it is a journey; from Soviet Russia to Latin America, it is “Nightmare Before Christmas” meets Playboy on Mars, with a throw back to Madonna’s “Vogue“.

As if all that wasn’t enough, Gaga’s ‘Albino Nun’ persona is the sexiest we’ve seen her yet – and let’s not forget those leather clad soldiers that flank her.
