When we first came up with the idea to start VEVO, it was always our vision from Day One to bring the highest quality music entertainment service on as many Web-connected platforms as possible. It was clear that access to great music programming from your favorite artists on many different types of Web-connected devices was what you wanted, and this would have to be a core part of our underlying mission. Well, we have never wavered from this original vision and have been working hard non-stop every day to make it happen.

A few months ago, we took our first big step in that direction, expanding from our online platform to launching VEVO and our complete library of music video programming on mobile (iPhone & iPod touch). We have more mobile platforms in development as we continually work to expand availability as fast as we can. Up next, we will release optimized VEVO experiences for iPad and Android platforms. Other mobile platforms will be announced in the future.

But this pursuit does not stop with just online and mobile… The TV, that other screen that touches all of our lives, is being hit in a big way with the Internet stick and it is only a matter of time before televisions everywhere have access to the Web and all of the great content and interactive experiences that we enjoy online.

Today, I am very happy to announce that VEVO has built an enhanced user-experience for the Google TV platform. Google TV is a brand new experience that combines the TV you know and love with the freedom and power of the Internet

What this means for fans of great music content is that, through any Google TV device, you can access a customized version of VEVO that will just work great and feel natural in the same way that you are accustomed to using your TV today. It will work with directional pads on remote controls and look good from across the living room, whether you are watching the latest videos from MGMT or Kings of Leon on the sofa or while lying in bed checking out your favorite Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber videos.
